Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various settings, including clinics and assisted living facilities. As an LPN, you will work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care.
Duties
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
Perform IV infusion procedures and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.
Assist with specimen collection processing and ensure proper documentation.
Provide care for infants, including monitoring vital signs and administering necessary treatments.
Support patients with daily living activities in assisted living environments.
Utilize Athenahealth software for patient record management and documentation.
Conduct assessments to evaluate patient needs and develop care plans accordingly.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care effectively.
Educate patients and their families on health management and wellness strategies.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice.
Experience in clinic settings or assisted living facilities is preferred.
Proficiency in IV infusion techniques and specimen collection processing.
Familiarity with DME (Durable Medical Equipment) usage is a plus.
Knowledge of sonography practices is beneficial but not required.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while demonstrating empathy and professionalism.

Pay: $31.72 - $37.00 per hour
