Job Details
Title: Radiation Therapist – Acute Care
Location: Houston, TX 77030
Division: Allied Health
Setting: Acute Care
Shift: 8 or 10-hour shifts | typically 6:45 AM – 5:30 PM (staggered shifts)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Contract Type: Travel or Temporary Assignment

Here, you’ll be working with Varian Edge and Halcyon equipment in an acute care setting, where your accuracy is as critical as your positive attitude. If your energy matches the machines you operate, you're the kind of pro we want on our team.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Deliver safe, effective radiation therapy treatment to patients
Operate Varian Edge and Halcyon systems with finesse and focus
Collaborate with oncologists, physicists, and dosimetrists to hit every target (literally)
Provide patient education and emotional support — because this job is equal parts technology and tenderness
Document using Aria charting system
Maintain a treatment room vibe that’s calm, clean, and a little bit cool
ARRT Certification (Radiation Therapy)
BLS Certification
Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Radiation Therapy
Strong working knowledge of Varian systems
Positive attitude, calm under pressure, and the ability to laugh even when the machines beep at you for no reason
Must live outside a 50-mile radius and not have worked for any CHI/Dignity/CommonSpirit facility in the last 12 months in any capacity
