Job Title: CT Technologist

Location: Robbinsdale, MN 55422

Salary Range: $24.77 – $37.16 per hour (based on education and experience)

Shift: Day/Evening/Night Shifts

Hours: 7.0 FTE (56 Hours Per Pay Period)


Job Summary:

As a CT Technologist at our Robbinsdale, MN facility, you will be responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis of disease and injury. You will work in a dynamic environment with a team of healthcare professionals dedicated to providing high-quality patient care. This role requires flexibility to work day, evening, and night shifts as scheduled.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT Scans: Conduct CT imaging procedures as per the physician's orders, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Patient Care: Provide compassionate care to patients, explaining procedures, answering questions, and addressing concerns to ensure a comfortable experience.
  • Image Quality and Safety: Maintain high standards of image quality and ensure patient safety through the proper use of CT equipment and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and quality checks on CT equipment, reporting any malfunctions or issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Documentation: Accurately document patient information, procedure details, and imaging results in the electronic medical record system.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care and efficient workflow.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all regulatory and accreditation standards, including radiation safety practices and HIPAA regulations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to stay current with advancements in CT imaging technology and practices.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program with a focus on CT imaging.
  • Certification: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography and advanced certification in CT.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a CT Technologist preferred, but new graduates with relevant training are encouraged to apply.
  • Licensure: Current state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in Minnesota.
  • Skills:
    • Proficient in CT imaging procedures and techniques.
    • Strong patient care and communication skills.
    • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
