Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with Daily Living Activities: Help telemetry patients with their day-to-day needs, like bathing, dressing, eating, and moving around. You’re their go-to support, making sure they’re comfortable and well cared for.
• Monitor Vital Signs: Take and record patients’ vital signs—temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates. In telemetry, every number matters, so keep a close eye on changes and ensure everything’s on track.
• Telemetry Monitoring Support: Keep a watchful eye on the telemetry monitors, alerting the healthcare team if any readings fall outside of the normal range.
• Provide Mobility Support: Safely assist patients with getting in and out of bed, walking, and moving around the facility. Your support helps prevent falls and keeps patients steady on their feet.
• Patient Comfort & Cleanliness: You’re all about keeping things clean and comfortable! Change bed linens, assist with personal hygiene, and ensure their surroundings are tidy.
• Help with Feeding and Hydration: Assist patients with eating and drinking, ensuring they get the nutrition and hydration they need.
• Emotional Support: Be there for patients when they need a listening ear, a comforting presence, or even just a friendly chat. Your compassion makes the difference.
• Accurate Documentation: Keep patient records up-to-date by documenting everything from vitals to any changes in their condition, especially critical in telemetry.
• Work Closely with Nurses and Healthcare Team: CNAs are essential support for nurses and doctors. You’ll collaborate closely to ensure telemetry patients receive the best care possible. Teamwork makes the dream work!
• Transport Patients: Help with patient transfers to different areas of the hospital, like for tests or therapy sessions, ensuring they get where they need to go safely and comfortably.

Qualifications:

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Washington (don’t leave home without it!).
• Telemetry or hospital experience is a plus, but we’re happy to train enthusiastic CNAs who love to learn.
• Excellent communication skills—extra points if you can throw in a great dad joke!
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required (but don’t worry, no capes required).

Job Types: Contract

Pay: $33.00 per hour (plus, we promise it’ll come with good vibes!)

Expected hours: 36 per week (with coffee breaks, snack breaks, and, well, more breaks!)
