Job Description

Position: Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech)

Location: Sacramento, CA

Pay Scale: $3100 to $3200/week

Shift: Nights

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and other related tests, ensuring high-quality images are obtained for physicians' review.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Review and assess images to confirm clarity, completeness, and proper positioning.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring all equipment is functioning correctly.
• Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans related to diagnostic imaging.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and radiation safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records, documenting procedures, diagnoses, and any complications.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure efficient patient flow and optimal care outcomes.
• Provide patient education on procedures, what to expect, and aftercare instructions.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Radiologic Tech experience in a hospital or clinical setting – Required
• ARRT certification and state licensure – Required
• Strong knowledge of radiologic procedures and safety protocols – Required
• Previous travel experience – Highly Preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification – Required
• Experience with CT and/or MRI imaging – Highly Preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment.
