Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Progressive Care Unit. The ideal candidate will provide excellent nursing care to patients requiring close monitoring and advanced interventions. This role requires strong clinical skills, the ability to work in high-pressure situations, and a focus on patient education and support.

Duties

• Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, including vital signs and symptoms.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
• Administer medications, perform interventions, and manage complications as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, recovery processes, and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records using electronic health record systems such as Epic or Meditech.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and patient safety standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and service efficiency.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Progressive Care Unit or similar acute care setting.
• Strong critical care experience is preferred.

Requirements

• Active IN State RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Telemetry experience is a plus.
