**Medical Solutions auto deducts the 1.75 WA state tax - you are able re-add that back in.** Department: ECHO/CARDIAC SONOGRAPHER General Certification Requirements BLS Specialty Certifications: ARDMS - RDCS (AE) CCI- RCS How many scanners/rooms does this dept have? varied Will they have to float/cover any other areas? Possible 4 sites SJMC, SFH, SCH, SAH but will try to keep at one site. May move midday (rare) Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties: Echocardiography Experience or 'Must have' skills: Experienced in TTE, TEE, contrast, bubble studies Average # of studies per day 7 EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use EMR - Epic, Change Healthcare (formally McKesson) Department Specific Equipment Philips Epiq 7, iE33 Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech? Regional echo supervisor Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)? N/A Radiologist in-house? Cardiologist in house Do they have to start IV's? (if applicable to the department) No Shifts & Scheduling 5-8s or 4-10s (4-10s most likely) Weekend Requirement yes Holiday Requirement yes, possible Call or Standby requirement? Response time? yes occasional, 45 min order to scan begin Scrub Color/Dress Code: Are scrubs provided? yes Department specific orientation will be provided Additional Notes Will do both outpatient and inpatient depending on need at site. Sites located about 20 minutes (max) from tertiary center (SJMC.) All sites use same equipment and EMR.
