Need: Mammo Tech **- screening and diagnostic mammo are required***
Cost Center 725
Unit: Mammography/Diagnostic & Radiology ***AART (M) and BLS are required*****
*proficient in mammography procedures. ****
Shift: Shift is Monday - Friday 7a-3:30p. (no call)
Length: 13 weeks
Unit Information: Alaska Regional Hospital Radiology Department Location: Alaska Regional Imaging Alliance Address: 1200 Airport Heights Road, Suite 180, Anchorage AK 99508 Floor: 1 Building: MOB E General Information Tell us about the unit(s): • Number of Beds - NA • Number of Staff – 2 • Shift for the Traveler --- Day shift, 40 hours, 8 hour days • Type of staff: 1 Radiologist, 1 Ultrasound Tech, 1 Mammographer o Day Shift – (example 1 charge, 3 RN, 2 CNA, and 1-3 sitters) o Night Shift - NONE • Patient Ratios – 1:1 • Type of equipment – Hologic Selenia Dimensions and Affirm Stereotactic • EMR – Epic, Volpara, McKesson PACS Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. • ARRT Registered Mammography • 8 hours Tomosynthesis training • Screening and Diagnostic mammography Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. • Experience in stereotactic guided biopsies and wire locs • Weekly Quality Control experience. List typical procedures performed on unit(s): • Screening, Diagnostic mammography • Stereotactic guided wire loc and biopsies Best personality Fit: • Self starter, self motivated, patient centered and patient focused, follow through with attention to detail, high quality positioning. REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: • ARRT (M) (R), BLS Floating Area(s): • MRI for breast positioning if needed Dress Code: • Scrub Color/Attire - Grey or Pewter Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines. • Weekends and On call(if any) • No call
