MRI Tech
Job Description
MRI Tech for fast-paced MRI department, predominantly outpatient. Approximately 30 studies daily on two scanners with 2 technologists per scanner. Siemens 3T Magnet & GE 1.5T Magnet. Oncology patients, primarily adults and geriatrics. 5x8 days, on call required approximately 1x/3 weeks. No weekends required. EPIC EMR, SBAR communication. Provider support includes interpretation services, IV teams, Radiology, rapid response teams, and respiratory services.
2 years’ experience REQUIRED; 5 preferred. ~40 hours orientation. Black or green scrubs required (not provided).
Certifications REQUIRED: BLS, ARRT MR
Skills/Experience REQUIRED: Abdomen; Abdominal Magnetic resonance angiogram (MRA); Abdominal Magnetic resonance venography (MRV); Female Pelvis; Magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography (MRCP) ; Male Pelvis; Breast; Chest; Brain; Face/soft tissue neck; Preparation and/or administration of contrast media; Radiation Safety; Cervical; Lumbar; Thoracic
