Job Description
Contract L&D RN Opportunities – Texas (Webster & Austin)
Position 1: LDRP RN – Webster, Texas
Start Date: May 19, 2025
Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule: 12-hour nights | 36 hrs/week
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Call Requirement: None
Weekend Requirement: Rotating weekends
Unit Overview:

Beds: 15 Labor Beds, 3 OR Suites, 4 Triage Beds, 3 Pre-op/PACU Beds
-
Staff: 55 total (30 Day / 25 Night)

Support Roles: Secretaries, Assistant Nurse Managers, Relief Charge Nurses, OR Technicians

EMR: Meditech
-
Equipment: EFM w/ Toco, Ultrasound, Pulse Ox, BP cables, NOVI
Patient Ratios:

Labor & Delivery: 1:2
-
APU/Triage: 1:3 or 1:4 (per AWHONN Guidelines)
Required Credentials:

Intermediate/Advanced EFM
Preferred Credentials:

RNC-OB

Common Procedures:

External Fetal Monitoring

Circulating/Recovery for C-sections and Vaginal Deliveries

Cerclage Placement/Removal

IUPC, FSE
Dress Code:

Scrubs: Royal Blue

Not Allowed: Jeans, open-toed shoes, off-color scrubs
