General Information
Tell us about the unit(s):
- Number of Beds – 15 labor beds, 3 OR suites, 4 Triage beds, 3 Preop/PACU beds
- Number of Staff – 55
- Type of staff: Secretaries, ANMs, relief charge, ORTs
- Day Shift – 30
- Night Shift - 25
- Patient Ratios – 2:1, 3 or 4:1 APU and Triage (USE AWHONN GUIDELINES)
- Type of equipment – EFM with Toco, US, pulse ox, BP cables, NOVI
- EMR - Meditech
Typical hiring profile
Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
- NRP
- BLS
- ACLS
- IEFM
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
- RNC-OB
- C-EFM
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
- External fetal monitoring
- C-sections(circulation and recovery)
- Vaginal Delivery (circulation and recovery)
- Cerclage placement and removal
- IUPC
- FSE
Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.
- Scrub Color - Royal Blue
