Job Description

Job Opportunity: CNA Med-surg in York, ME

  • Position: CNA Med-surg in ME
  • Location: York, ME
  • Pay Rate: $36-$37 per hour
  • Shift:  Days 6:00 am to 6:30 pm' 3 -12 hour shifts per week.
  • Work Week: 36 hours per week
  • Duration: 12 weeks

Your Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent patient care, including assistance with daily activities and personal hygiene.
  • Respond to patient calls, assess needs, and provide appropriate assistance.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, food intake, and urinary/fecal output.
  • Gather information from medical professionals about patient conditions and treatment plans.
  • Remind patients to take medications and supplements. Stay updated on CNA training and adhere to facility policies and procedures

What We’re Looking For:

  • There is a possibility that you might be asked to work variable shifts. There will be weekend rotations required.  Must be proficient with EKG, vitals, splinting, glucometer.  Must be licensed in the State of Maine and possess phlebotomy skills.  Must have a current BLS certification. 

Schedule:

  • 12 -hour shift

Ability to Relocate:

  • York, ME  Relocate before starting work (Required)

Work Location: In person

Requirements:

  • CNA WA license
  • NIHSS Required
  • BSN Required: NO
  • Experience in Med-Surg/Tele.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Good communication skills.
  • COVID Vaccination
