Unit Profiles:The purpose of a unit profile is to help provide an exceptional understanding of the unit. Profiles will include location, number of beds, patient rations, and other unique details to assist recruiting professional in effectively and efficiently identifying highly qualified staff. Below you will find a data collection tool to help you identify essential data needed to complete your profile. Data Collection:Unit Information: Respiratory Care DepartmentLocation: Las Palmas Medical CenterBuilding: AFloor: 1stOrder Detail:Facility Department Number: 75426Discipline: Respiratory CareQuantity: 3Target Start Date: As soon as possibleShift: 6:00pm – 6:30amCall RequirementsWeekends: Every otherGeneral InformationTell us about the unit(s): • Number of Beds - 327 • Number of Staff – 5 • Type of staff: 1 RT Supervisor, 4 RT’so Day Shift – (example 1 charge, 3 RN, 2 CNA, and 1-3 sitters)o Night Shift - • Patient Ratios – • Type of equipment – Servo U, Respironics V-60’s, Hamilton C1/MR1 • EMR – Meditech • Permanent Positions on Unit Avaliable? (Y/N) – YesTypical hiring profileSkill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. • BLS, ACLS • NICU – BLS, NRP / PICU- BLS, PALSPreferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. • NRP, STABLE, PALS • ACLSList typical procedures performed on unit(s): • Treatments, MDI’s, Ventilator management, Trach Care, Suctioning, etc… • Best personality Fit: • Adaptable to fast paced environment • Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire. • Scrub Color - Navy Blue everyday except Fridays can wear Black or Grey scrubs. •
