Job Description: Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical-Surgical

Location: Inglewood, CA

Position Type: Per Diem

Shift: 12-Hour Shifts (Day and Night)

Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical-Surgical unit in Inglewood, CA. This per diem role offers flexibility with both day and night shifts available. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, a compassionate approach to patient care, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Medical-Surgical unit.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed.
  • Monitor patient conditions, assess vital signs, and report changes to the healthcare team.
  • Collaborate with physicians, healthcare providers, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Shift Details:

  • Day Shift: 07:00 AM to 07:00 PM
  • Night Shift: 07:00 PM to 07:00 AM
  • Flexibility to choose preferred shifts.

Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a Medical-Surgical setting preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Compensation:

  • Pay Rate: $55 per hour.
