Job Description: CT Tech, MRI Tech
Location: Norman, OK 73072
Salary Range: $23.79/hour - $38.36/hour (based on education and experience)
Shift Differential: $2.50/hour for evenings, $3.00/hour for overnight
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Tech and MRI Tech to join our medical imaging team in Norman, OK. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiologic technology, with specific expertise in computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). This role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT and MRI Procedures: Execute high-quality imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
- Patient Care: Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, providing clear instructions and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Image Quality Control: Review and evaluate images for clarity, accuracy, and diagnostic quality, making adjustments as necessary.
- Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain imaging equipment, troubleshooting technical issues, and performing routine maintenance.
- Documentation: Accurately document procedures and patient information in the medical record system.
- Collaboration: Work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, radiation safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Professional Development: Stay current with advancements in imaging technology and techniques through ongoing education and training.
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Certification: ARRT certification in Radiography, CT, and/or MRI.
- Experience: Previous experience as a CT Tech or MRI Tech preferred; new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply.
- Licensure: Valid state licensure in Radiologic Technology.
- Skills: Excellent technical skills, strong attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move patients, operate imaging equipment, and stand for extended periods.
