Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Long-Term Care (LTC)

Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Days
Hourly Pay: $30 to $38
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for an exciting 13-week contract in a long-term care (LTC) facility in Graham, TX. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with a supportive team, enhance your skills, and contribute to the well-being of patients in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Physical Therapists in providing therapy treatments to patients in a long-term care setting.
- Implement treatment plans designed to improve patient mobility, reduce pain, and restore physical function.
- Monitor patient progress and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Document patient care services and maintain accurate records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
- Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is required, with a strong background in long-term care preferred.
- Licensure: Must hold an active PTA license in Texas or a compact license that allows practice in Texas.
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
