Unit Specifics:
- Number of Beds : 36
- Patient Ratios : 1:6
- Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : 4 South has 2 stations and uses 2 unit secretaries 0600-2200 daily. We utilize patient care techs at all times, the amount and ratio fluctuates depending on census.
- Type of equipment : Telemetry for each room with monitors in the stations, Dynamaps for vital signs, glucometers, iMobile phones, bladder scanner
- Documentation system: Meditech
- Scheduling requirements: 12 hour shifts (7-7), every other weekend, holidays required as well.
- Floating policy: All nurses float to other units as needed.
- Patient Experience requirements: Hourly rounding, bedside shift report, My Care Boards, AIDET

Requested Skill Set: Strong nursing background and knowledge, thorough assessment skills, attention to details and condition changes.

Advanced skills needed: Telemetry rhythm interpretation
Procedures performed on unit: PICC line removal, vas cath/temp cath removal
Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS
Dress Code: (Required uniform)
