Job Description: 

• Position: RN: Tele/LTAC 
• Location:  Denver, CO 80218
• Pay Rate: $63- $64/hour
• Shift:  NIGHTS---Hours: 12's; 6pm-6am
• Work Week: 36 hours per week
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Gross: $2,321.09/week
• Stipend Weekly: $1,637.09/week
• Taxable Income: $684.00/week

Position Description

The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Facility Requirements:

• Must have ACLS & BLS certifications, these must be attached to the submission (Must be through the American Heart Association); RQI certifications will not be accepted
• Must have vent/trach experience, knowledge of central lines & preferred wound care experience
• Must have CO or multi-state compact RN license, must be attached to resume
• Two to 5 years’ experience is required
• Patient Ratios are 1:6

Kindred Hospital Denver and Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) is an all-private room 81-bed hospital located on one of Denver’s important medical campuses, just east of St. Joseph’s Hospital and Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center. With 68 long-term acute care hospital (LTACH) beds, we offer the same in depth care you would receive in a traditional hospital, but for an extended recovery period. Our 13-bed ARU is designed for people who have experienced the debilitating effects of an acute injury, impairment or illness and like the LTACH, we partner with your physician and offer 24-hour clinical care seven days a week so you can start your journey to wellness.
