•       Number of Beds – 7 bays

•       Number of Staff – 11

•       Type of staff:

o   Day Shift – 1 Supervisor, 1 Charge, 1 Secretary/tech, 7 RN day shift, 1 late RN

o   Night Shift – 1 RN evening

•       Patient Ratios – 1:1

•       Type of equipment – Monitor, Scale, Glucometer, Crash cart, Bair Hugger

•       EMR - Meditech

Skill Set Most recruited for: 

 

Must have:  candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

•        Experience as a preoperative RN

•        

Preferred or nice to have:  candidates with these skills will be considered first.

•        Meditech charting experience

•        

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):  

•         Prep patients for surgery, GI procedures, Cathlab procedures

•        

Best personality Fit:

•        Positive, Team oriented, adaptable, self-starter, can-do attitude

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

•       BLS

Floating Area(s): No Calls Mon-Fri

•       None, possible if experienced in any other perioperative areas

Dress Code:

•       Scrub Color/Attire -  provided at hospital

Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.

•        

Weekends and On call(if any)

•       Rotating call for preop – Once every 6-7 weeks
