•*Cerner required** -No first time travelers- The units requiring monitor techs are: ICU/Neuro, 4W, 4E, 5W, & 5E. There is 1 monitor tech for each of these units 30 beds max BLS 'Monitor & recognize rhythm changes & report to RN in timely manner. Maintain charts with appropriate rhythm strips & measurements & maintain tele log PM shift is a dual role (will work as monitor tech & unit secretary) AM shift - will work as monitor tech with possibility of also working as unit secretary Could potentially be assigned to work as a sitter or patient safety advocate (PSA) when needed.' Must have at least 1 year of experience as a monitor tech. There is always a house supervisor in house. The units are normally staffed with either a charge or a nurse shift manager. Cerner Phillips, Teletracking Varied 12-Hr shifts. The schedule is Sun-Sat, 12Hr shifts that start at 1900. Self-scheduling allowed; but manager has final decision. Manager will move people if required for staffing needs. No guarantee of block scheduling. Every other weekend One major, one minor No call or standby 1st to float - can float to cover any of the above noted units. Hunter Green (medium green color)
