Job Description
Registered Nurse - Step Down Unit Location: Davenport, IA
Pay Rate: $52-58/hr
Shift: 7:00-19:00 and 19:00-7:00 (36 hours weekly, both day and night shifts available)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Are you an experienced Step Down RN looking for a new opportunity? Join our healthcare team in Davenport, IA, for a 13-week contract and provide high-quality care to patients transitioning from critical care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Step Down unit.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and perform necessary treatments.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Ensure patient safety and provide support to patients and their families.
Qualifications:
- Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License; required.
- Current BCLS (AHA) and ACLS certification upon hire and maintain current; required.
- Minimum of one (1) year clinical experience in a Step Down or similar setting; preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
Work Schedule:
- Both day (7:00-19:00) and night (19:00-7:00) shifts available.
- 36-hour work week, 12-hour shifts.
