Job Description
Position: Travel RN - ICU
Location: Marion, NC 28752
Pay scale: $70.00
Shift: Nights
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert nursing care to critically ill patients in the intensive care unit (ICU).
- Monitor and assess patients' vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and respiratory status.
- Administer medications and advanced treatments to stabilize and support patients' conditions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Respond promptly to emergent situations and provide advanced life support interventions.
- Maintain meticulous documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and responses to treatment.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
- Substantial experience in critical care nursing in an ICU or CCU setting.
- Proficiency in advanced life support interventions.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong critical thinking skills and effective communication abilities.
