Job Description: Occupational Therapist

Location: Las Vegas, NV 89117

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Days

Hourly Pay (W2): $48 to $52

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team in Las Vegas, NV for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing occupational therapy services to a diverse patient population. This role involves working daytime shifts and offers a competitive hourly wage.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' physical, mental, and emotional conditions to develop customized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients' abilities to perform daily activities.
• Educate patients and families about their conditions and the necessary therapeutic techniques to promote health and wellness.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to healthcare regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid and current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Nevada.
• Previous experience in a clinical or hospital setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
