Position: Nurse Manager – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Location: Coos Bay, OR

Salary: $105,000 - $140,000

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Oversee ICU operations, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Staff Development: Mentor and guide ICU staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Patient Care: Ensure patient-centered care plans are developed, implemented, and monitored effectively.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and ICU performance.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and implement policies and procedures that align with best practices and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field (or commitment to complete within two years).
  • Master’s degree in Nursing or related field is preferred.
  • Licensure:
  • Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Oregon.
  • Certifications:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (required).
  • Specialty certification in Intensive Care or relevant field (preferred).
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past ten years.
  • At least two years of managerial or leadership experience within the past five years.
