Position: Pharmacist
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift Notes: Mid 3x8-Hour (13:30 - 22:00)
Day 3x8-Hour (12:30 - 21:00)
Location: San Leandro, CA 94578
Facility: SLH PHARMACY
Rate: $75 per hour
In Patient Pharmacist
Years of experience REQ: 1-3 years in hospital experience preferred
Weekend REQ: Every other weekend
Is on-call REQ? N
Open to accommodating block schedule? Yes
RTO Restrictions: If needed, must work 2/3 major holidays
Guaranteed Hours: 24 hours minimum, three 8-hour shifts with 30 min lunch. Up to 32 hours per week.
Special Requirements: Proficient computer skills, modern Pharmacology, compounding prescriptions and pharmaceutical supplies. Monitor drug therapy of patients and recognize significant drug interactions.
Pharmaceutical calculations. Proficiency Level Compounds, prepares, packages and dispenses drugs and pharmaceuticals according.
to Federal and State law requirements, supervises Pharmacy Technician and other - support staff on above duties. Keeps informed of new drugs and pharmaceutical developments, services as a pharmaceutical consultant to medical and nursing staff. Keeps or supervises records of drugs, poisons, and controlled substances ordered, received, and supply on hand as required by Federal and State laws; estimates needs and orders drugs, pharmaceuticals and chemicals as needed to maintain an adequate supply. Reviews the proper storage of drugs on nursing stations, pharmacies, or outpatient clinics; removes all outdated drugs.
