Location:  Lynwood, CA 

Start Date:  11/11/2024

Employment Type: LongTermAssignment 1 year

Shift:  Nights  

Pay:  $90

Expected Hours: 36 Hrs per week

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Patient Assessment and Care: Perform comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, and carry out clinical procedures specific to labor and delivery in line with facility standards.
  • Patient Education: Guide patients and their families through labor and postpartum care, explaining treatment plans, medications, and health management strategies.
  • Collaborative Care: Work closely with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare providers to ensure thorough, patient-centered care throughout the birthing process.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain precise documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and progress to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Quality Improvement: Contribute to quality improvement efforts to uphold exceptional standards in patient safety and maternal care.

     

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license in California or compact licensure, with a preference for candidates holding multi-state licenses.
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in Labour & Delivery.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification highly preferred.
