Position: Clinical Laboratory Scientist

Location: Santa Cruz, CA, 95065

Pay Scale: $3003

Shift: Flexible

Responsibilities:

• Conduct a wide range of laboratory tests to analyze bodily fluids, tissues, and other substances.

• Operate and maintain sophisticated laboratory equipment to ensure accurate testing results.

• Collect, process, and analyze samples in accordance with established protocols.

• Validate and interpret test results, recognizing abnormalities and ensuring timely reporting to physicians.

• Uphold quality assurance and control standards to maintain laboratory accreditation and compliance.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide critical diagnostic information.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or a related field.

• Current Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) certification.

• State licensure, as required.

• Strong knowledge of laboratory testing methodologies and safety standards.

• Proficiency with laboratory instruments and information systems.
