***CURRENTLY OFFERING AN UP TO $10,000 SIGN-ON BONUS***
Salary Range: $33.87/hour - $55.31/hour (based on education and experience)
Shift Differentials: 2.50 evening, 3.00 night and 3.00 weekend.
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team in Norman, OK. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping individuals of all ages regain or enhance their ability to perform daily activities and tasks. You will work closely with patients to develop personalized treatment plans aimed at improving their physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional strengths and limitations.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to set achievable goals and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients' abilities to perform daily activities, such as dressing, grooming, eating, and using assistive devices.
- Utilize adaptive equipment and technology to enhance patients' independence and quality of life.
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and caregivers on techniques for managing disabilities and promoting safety in the home environment.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans.
- Stay current with advances in occupational therapy research, techniques, and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid license to practice occupational therapy in the state of OK.
- Previous experience working as an Occupational Therapist preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Knowledge of healthcare laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
