Respiratory Therapist Location: Des Moines, IA 50314

Pay Rate: $40-45/hr

Shift: 07:00-19:30

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Certifications: ACLS, BLS required

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform respiratory therapy treatments and diagnostic procedures.
• Assess patients' respiratory conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatments as necessary.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and equipment.

Qualifications:

• Active state Respiratory Therapist License; required.
• Current ACLS and BLS certification upon hire and maintain current; required.
• Minimum of one (1) year clinical experience in a respiratory care setting; preferred.
• Strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Schedule:

• Day shift, 07:00-19:30.
• 13-week contract.
