Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

Location: Placentia, CA

Responsibilities:

- Provide speech therapy services to patients with communication and swallowing disorders

- Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans

- Develop and implement individualized therapy programs

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care

- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records

- Educate patients and their families on speech therapy techniques and strategies

Experience:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

- Experience in School, acute care, or ICU, or critical care settings preferred

- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology

- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus

Skills:

- Strong patient care skills and ability to establish rapport with patients

- Proficiency in conducting patient assessments and developing treatment plans

- Knowledge of speech therapy techniques and interventions

- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
