Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated ICU RN to join our team. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, manage critically ill patients, and contribute to an efficient and effective ICU environment. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient well-being.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and manage complex care plans.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring life-support equipment, and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Document all procedures accurately in electronic health record systems, such as Epic or Meditech.
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain patient safety standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and workflow efficiency.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an RN in an ICU or similar high-acuity setting.
- Must have completed two years of acute care or relevant experience within the last 3 years.
- Experience in rural or remote healthcare settings is preferred.
Requirements
- Active Wyoming RN license.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
