Job Description: Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Position: Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Location: Mill Creek, WA 98012

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Days

Hourly Pay: $35 to $40 (W2)

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our healthcare team in Mill Creek, WA. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to our Physical Therapists in the rehabilitation and treatment of patients with physical impairments, disabilities, and movement dysfunction. This position is for a 13-week assignment with day shifts, offering competitive hourly pay on a W2 basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans designed to help patients regain mobility and manage pain.
• Conduct therapeutic exercises and activities under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatments.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and exercises to be performed at home.
• Ensure a safe and clean working environment by adhering to facility policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current state license as a Physical Therapy Assistant in Washington State.
• Previous experience in a physical therapy setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• BLS and First Aid certification Required.
