RN Emergency Room Position - Alpena, MI

Hourly Pay Rate: $63/hr

Shift: Night, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Position Duration: 13 Weeks

Certification Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) by the American Heart Association (AHA)

Experience Required: Minimum 2 years

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Room (ER) team in Alpena, MI. This temporary position lasts 13 weeks, with night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of ER experience and a current BLS certification by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the ER, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed.
• Monitor and document patient progress and responses to treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions and post-hospital care.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an ER.
• Current BLS certification by AHA.
• Valid RN license for the state of Michigan.
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
