• Position: Pharmacist
• Location: Panama City, FL
• Start Date: ASAP
• Employment Type: 13 weeks Contract
• Shift:  Variable(8:00PM-6:30AM-7on7off----1400-2230, WEEKENDS, 1000-1830, 0600-1430, 0500-1330 (ALL SHIFTS))
• Pay: $57/hour
• Gross Weekly: $2,240/week
• Expected Hours: 40per week

• Number of Beds :  222

  •Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : PHARMACY TECHNICIAN

  •Type of equipment :  MEDITECH, PYXIS

  •Documentation system:  MEDITECH

  •Scheduling requirements:  1400-2230, WEEKENDS, 1000-1830, 0600-1430, 0500-1330 (ALL SHIFTS)

  •Floating policy:  NO FLOATING

  •Patient Experience requirements:  NONE

  Hospital Specifics-

  •Certifications:  FL PHARMACY REGISTRATION

Must have:  candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• FL PHARMACY TECHNICIAN REGISTRATION

• Advanced skills needed: IV COMPOUNDING EXPERIENCE A PLUS

• Procedures performed on unit:  RESTOCK PYXIS, COMPOUNDING, IV COMPOUNDING, HOURLY ROUNDS TO THE UNITS FOR MEDICATION DELIVERIES

• Certifications Required:  FL PHARMACY TECHNICIAN REGISTRATION

• SSN, DL, Covid Card Mandatory

Key Responsibilities:

1. Medication Dispensing: Accurately dispense prescriptions and counsel patients on proper medication usage.
2. Patient Counseling: Advise patients on the safe use of medications, possible side effects, and interactions.
