Job Title: Electrophysiology (EP) Technician
Location: Tacoma, WA
Experience: Minimum 2 Years
Shift: Day Shift (3 days per week, 12-hour shifts)
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
Pay Range: $2,720 - $2,990 per week
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Electrophysiology (EP) Technician to join our healthcare team in Tacoma, WA. The ideal candidate will assist in electrophysiology procedures, including cardiac ablations and device implantations, ensuring high-quality patient care. This is a day shift position with 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, on a 13-week contract with competitive weekly pay.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist physicians with electrophysiology procedures, including ablations, pacemaker, and ICD implants.
Operate and maintain EP Lab equipment, including mapping systems and fluoroscopy.
Monitor and document patient vital signs during procedures.
Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
Administer contrast agents and medications as directed.
Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols.
Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals for optimal patient outcomes.
Accurately document procedural details and maintain patient records.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Certified Electrophysiology Technician (RCES or RCIS preferred).
Minimum 2 years of experience in an EP Lab or Cath Lab setting.
BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
Proficiency in operating EP Lab equipment and monitoring systems.
Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, electrophysiology procedures, and medical imaging.
Excellent teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Pay: $2,720.00 - $2,990.00 per week
