Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Danville, CA 94506

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Days

Hourly Pay: $50 to $55 on W2

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Danville, CA for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and a passion for helping individuals improve their communication and swallowing abilities. As an SLP, you will work primarily during daytime hours, providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for a variety of speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' speech, language, voice, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on communication strategies and techniques to support ongoing progress.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress reports.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide expert input on patient care.
• Stay current with developments in the field of speech-language pathology through continuing education and professional development.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in California.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• Experience working with diverse patient populations and a variety of speech and language disorders.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
