Job Description: CT Technologist
Location: Glendale, AZ 85306
Shift Schedule:
- Days: Sunday - Tuesday
- Hours: 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM
- Total Hours per Week: 36 hours
- Guaranteed Hours: 24 hours
- Cancellation Policy: Allowed to cancel 1 shift per week
Compensation:
- Hourly Pay on W2: $60 to $65
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our healthcare team in Glendale, AZ. The ideal candidate will perform computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. You will work in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality imaging services with a commitment to patient safety and care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans as per physician orders.
- Prepare patients for CT procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
- Operate and maintain CT equipment, ensuring safety and optimal performance.
- Ensure accurate positioning of patients to obtain the best images.
- Follow established protocols for radiation safety and protection.
- Assist radiologists in interpreting CT images when necessary.
- Maintain detailed patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Float to different units within the facility where experienced and as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in CT.
- State licensure as a CT Technologist in Arizona.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of CT experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of radiographic techniques, patient positioning, and safety procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a high-stress environment.
- Flexibility to float to various units based on facility needs.
