Tell us about the unit(s):
• Number of Beds - 2 CT Scanners, 2 table
• Number of Staff – 2 Tech 24 hours a day, 12 hour shifts
• Type of staff: 2 CT Tech’s, Director, radiologists
o Day Shift – 2 CT Techs, 1 table, 12 hour shifts
o Night Shift - 2 CT Techs, 1 table, 12 hour shifts
• Patient Ratios (Estimated) – 1:1, on-call is required – will consist of every other weekend, Fri-Sun from 7P – 7A
• Type of equipment - GE, 1.5 , Discovery 450
• EMR - Meditech
Typical hiring profile
Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
• BLS, ARRT (CT)
• Certified CT Tech – Strongly prefer experience with GE and Meditech
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
• ACLS
• RT (T), ASRT
• FASRT
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
• CT Scan, MRI, body scanner , X-Rays
• Create pictures of bones, organs, tissues and combine to create accurate picture assessment
Best personality Fit:
• Critical thinker, flexible, no call associated, willing to work weekends and nights
• Work independently is a MUST, adaptable, flexible
Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.
• Scrub Color - Navy Blue, white, or combination of both – nothing else.
