  • Position: MRI Tech
  • Location:  Richmond, VA 23225
  • Pay scale: $57-$58/hour
  • Weekly Gross: $2,346.00/week
  • Shift:  Nights (WED. - SAT- 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM )
  • Duration: 13 Weeks
  • Start: 28th OCT 2024

Responsibilities:

  • Number of Beds –NA
  • Number of Staff – 5
  • Type of staff:
  • Type of staff: Day Shift – 2 Technologists Evening Shift – 2 Technologists Night Shift-Call
  • Patient Ratios – NA
  • Type of equipment –  GE 450W 1.5 T
  • EMR – Meditech/Centricity PACS

Requirements

Must have:  candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

  • Certifications Required:   ARRT, MRI Certification
  • BLS
  • SSN, DL & Covid Card
  • Experience on GE equipment

 Preferred or nice to have:  candidates with these skills will be considered first.

  • Ability to adapt protocols for patients or physician needs 
  • Willing to learn from onsite and virtual applications for new procedures 

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):  

  •   Cardiac Scans

Weekends and On call:

  • Weekend Call Rotation (typically 1 weekend per month
  • (2) week nights of call each week (typically from 11p-6a)
