Exciting Career Opportunity: Physical Therapist (PT) / Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Long Term Care
Location: Temple, TX
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days
Hourly Pay:
- PT: $50 - $55
- PTA: $30 - $32
Position Overview: We are seeking dedicated and experienced Physical Therapists (PT) and Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA) for a 13-week contract in Temple, TX. This role involves providing high-quality physical therapy services in a long-term care setting. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in physical therapy and a commitment to improving patient outcomes.
Qualifications:

Physical Therapist (PT):
- Minimum of 2 years of PT experience required
- Current TX or Compact License required
- BLS (AHA) Certification required

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA):
- Minimum of 2 years of PTA experience required
- Current TX or Compact License required
- BLS (AHA) Certification required
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for patients
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Educate patients and their families about physical therapy techniques and home exercise programs
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Adhere to all safety, regulatory, and ethical standards in patient care
