Surgical Technologist (Surgical Tech) Location: Chico, CA

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Shift: Day; 8-hour shifts; 06:30 start time, 40 hours weekly

Pay Rate: $51/hr

Weekly Gross Pay: $2040

EMR Used: EPIC

Certifications: BLS/BCLS required

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms for surgery by setting up surgical instruments and equipment.
• Assist surgeons during surgical procedures by passing instruments and supplies.
• Maintain a sterile environment to prevent infection.
• Monitor and document patient conditions during surgery.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient procedures.

Qualifications:

• Active state Surgical Technologist Certification; required.
• Current BLS/BCLS certification upon hire and maintain current; required.
• Minimum of one (1) year clinical experience as a Surgical Technologist; preferred.
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system; preferred.
• Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Schedule:

• Day shift, 8-hour shifts starting at 06:30.
• 40 hours per week.
• 13-week contract.
