Job Title: Scrub Tech

Location: Redding, CA

Pay Rate: $51/hr

Shift: 5 x 8-hour days, 40 hours per week

Shift Hours: Vary between 06:30 - 15:00 & 10:45 - 19:15

Call Requirements: 1-2 overnight calls and every 3rd-4th weekend

Days: Monday – Friday

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Scrub Tech to join our team in Redding, CA. This is a 13-week contract position offering a competitive pay rate of $51 per hour. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in an acute care hospital setting and be proficient with the DaVinci Xi system.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain sterile fields for surgical procedures
• Assist surgeons during operations by providing necessary instruments and supplies
• Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and functioning
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Adhere to all hospital protocols and guidelines for infection control
• Participate in on-call rotations, including 1-2 overnight calls and every 3rd-4th weekend

Qualifications:

• Current and valid state Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certificate
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate
• Minimum of 3 years of Scrub Tech experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Experience with the DaVinci Xi robotic system
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work varied shifts and participate in on-call rotations
