Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift Schedule: 7 PM - 7 AM, 4x12-hour shifts; 48 hours scheduled, with a 46-hour per week guarantee

Hourly Pay Rate: $45/hour

Experience Required: 2+ years in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long Term Care (LTC) as an LPN

Certifications Required: BLS (AHA)

State License Requirements: Michigan

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Long Term Care (LTC) team in Wakefield, MI, for a 13-week contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in LTC or Skilled Nursing Facilities, with at least 2 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in a Long Term Care (LTC) facility, adhering to best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform routine nursing procedures.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
• Document all care provided and update patient records using the facility's electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare providers to ensure the best possible care outcomes.
• Participate in shift handovers and ensure continuity of care.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines to maintain a safe environment for residents and staff.

• Transportation: Please note that there is no public transportation available in Wakefield, MI. All travelers must have their own vehicle or arrange for a rental.
• Work History: Candidates should have a work history going back 3-5 years, with a skills checklist completed within the last year.
• Travel Experience: Previous travel nursing experience is desired but not required.
