Key Responsibilities:
- Patient care: Provide general nursing care, monitor vital signs, and evaluate patients' progress
- Medication: Administer intravenous fluids and oxygen, and ensure patients receive medications safely
- Communication: Communicate with patients, doctors, family members, and other healthcare team members
- Patient records: Maintain patient records, complete paperwork, and create care plans
- Critical thinking: Assess patients' conditions quickly and accurately, and make informed decisions
- Patient counseling: Provide health education, information about disease and treatment, and help with daily activities
- Psychological support: Provide support to patients and their families
- Teamwork: Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, and may take charge of the ICU in the absence of seniors
- Medical emergencies: Respond to medical emergencies and alert the appropriate doctors
- Infection prevention: Adhere to hospital policies to prevent infection
Qualifications:
- Current RN ICU certification in California (don’t leave home without it!).
- Hospital experience is a plus, but we’re happy to train enthusiastic RN ICU who love to learn.
- Excellent communication skills—extra points if you can throw in a great dad joke!
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required (but don’t worry, no capes required).

Job Types: Contract
Pay: $78.00 - $86.00 per hour (plus, we promise it’ll come with good vibes!)
Expected hours: 36 per week (with coffee breaks, snack breaks, and, well, more breaks!)
