Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in trauma medicine and emergency care, with the ability to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and collaborating with medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Duties

Conduct thorough physical examinations and assess patients' health status.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

Perform catheterization procedures and manage patients' intravenous lines.

Maintain accurate medical records using Cerner or other electronic health record systems.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in their condition promptly.

Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and home care needs.

Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.

Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to patient care.

Experience in trauma medicine or emergency room settings is preferred.

Familiarity with durable medical equipment (DME) is a plus.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining medical records.

Ability to handle high-stress situations calmly and efficiently.
