Med Sol prescreens need 2 sup refs (charge accepted) at submittal; 1 w/in 12 mo. & 1 w/in 3 years worked Modules are required done before start. Modules take 3-4 hours -not billable Candidates may not have been directly employed (full time, part time, or PRN) by any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity within the past year. Candidates who were employed PRN through outside firms will be considered. •**PRIOR TO ACCEPTANCE, THE DYS EXAM THROUGH UNA IS REQUIRED ALONG WITH ACCEPTANCE. MUST BE COMPLETED WITHIN 24-48 HRS. IT’S PASS OR FAIL AND THEY GET 2 ATTEMPTS (TEST A SHOULD BE ASSIGNED FIRST, TEST B SHOULD BE ASSIGNED FOR THE RETAKE). A SCREENSHOT SHOWING THE NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS IS REQUIRED. **We can accept the Relias Dys exam within the last 12mo if the traveler has previously taken** UnitRICU (Medical ICU)/CSICI - will float between the two units and cardiac experience is a MUST # beds6 and 1 open bay. Travelers can access their schedules from home and make themselves 'available' for extra shifts and make trades with other staff. Block scheduling is generally not available. FloatingAll other Sacramento facilities. Mid-shift float to another facility is rare, but can happen. Travelers float first. Floor specific orientation1 - 2 days on the floor with preceptor. Common diagnosis / Types of patientsAMI, AVR, MVR, resp failure, renal failure, IABP, CRRT, Empella, therapeutic hypothermia. Chest tube insertion, intubation, and emergency sternotomies are common procedures. Additional NotesWill not be recovering fresh postop patients.
