Key Responsibilities:

• Basic medical care LPNs perform basic medical tasks, such as taking vital signs, changing bandages, and feeding patients.
• Patient care LPNs help patients with daily activities, such as eating, bathing, and getting dressed. They also ensure patients are comfortable, well-fed, and hydrated.
• Communication LPNs maintain communication between patients, their families, and their caregivers. They keep patients and their families updated on their progress, medication requirements, and tests.
• Patient advocacy LPNs help patients understand their rights and suggest what is best for them. They also provide emotional and psychological support when needed.
• Patient monitoring LPNs observe patients under treatment to identify progress, side effects of medications, and other changes in their health. They also monitor patients' fluid intake and output.
• Documentation LPNs record a patient's medical history and vital signs, and update patient records in a confidential manner.
• Collaboration LPNs work under the direction of registered nurses (RNs) and doctors. They assist nursing and medical staff with basic medical tasks

Qualifications:

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification in Georgia (don’t leave home without it!).
• Hospital experience is a plus, but we’re happy to train enthusiastic LPN who love to learn.
• Excellent communication skills—extra points if you can throw in a great dad joke!
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required (but don’t worry, no capes required).

Pay: $33.00 - $37.00 per hour (plus, we promise it’ll come with good vibes!)

Expected hours: 40 per week (with coffee breaks, snack breaks, and, well, more breaks!)
