Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT)
Location: Lancaster, CA 93534
Employment Type: Contract, 13 Weeks
Shift: Days
Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36
Hourly Pay Rate: $55 to $60 on W2
Job Description:
As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients by assessing, planning, and implementing therapeutic treatments to improve their physical abilities. You will work closely with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans aimed at enhancing the patient's quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:

Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations of patients’ physical abilities, limitations, and medical histories to develop personalized care plans.

Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at improving mobility, strength, balance, and coordination.

Therapeutic Interventions: Administer physical therapy treatments such as exercises, manual therapy, modalities, and patient education.

Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.

Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure coordinated patient care.

Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and strategies to maintain and improve physical health.

Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

Licensure: Current and valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist in California.

Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.

Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Certifications: CPR/BLS certification is required.
