Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: San Pablo, CA 94806
Shift: Day Shift
Duration: 13 Weeks
Pay: $50 to $55 per hour (W2)
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in San Pablo, CA, for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse populations and a passion for helping individuals improve their communication skills.
Responsibilities:

Assessment and Evaluation:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessments and patient goals.

Therapeutic Intervention:
- Implement evidence-based therapy interventions to address speech and language needs.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to provide holistic care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment plans and progress.

Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and facility standards.

Education and Support:
- Provide education and support to patients and families to facilitate effective communication strategies.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of California.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
