Job Description: Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg

Location: Salina, KS

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Salary Range: $29.00/hour - $43.00/hour (based on education and experience)

Shift and Weekend Differential: Additional $2.00/hour

Relocation Allowance: Up to $5,000 (details to be discussed during the interview)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) team. This position is ideal for a compassionate nurse looking to make a significant impact on patient care during the night shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Care: Provide high-quality, patient-centered care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care in a Med Surg unit.
• Monitoring: Monitor patient conditions, perform assessments, and adjust treatments as necessary.
• Documentation: Accurately document patient care and communicate effectively with healthcare team members.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Medication Administration: Safely administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and post-hospital care.

Qualifications:

• Licensure: Current RN licensure in the state of Kansas or ability to obtain before start date.
• Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Experience: Previous experience in a Med Surg or acute care setting preferred.
• Certifications: BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
